Dasun Shanaka is handed over the trophy and his teammates surround him to pose for the cameras. Big moment for a young team. They were written off even before this T20I series kicked off and have managed to surprise one and all. That's all we have from this Sri Lankan tour of Pakistan. The touring team will fly back home as a satisfied unit whereas the hosts have got a reality check in this format. How will they respond? We will find that out soon. Until next time, it's goodbye and cheers!

Victorious Sri Lankan skipper, Dasun Shanaka says that it's a good victory and thanks the Pakistani crowd for supporting them as well. Mentions that all the players were bonded and terms it the key for their success. States that all his players are equally talented and their unity was the secret. Feels that if you play smart cricket, there is always a chance to win. Believes that they took good calls in the middle which helped them win the series. Thanks the PCB and the Pakistani crowd for inviting them for a series.

Pakistan skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmed starts by saying that they recovered well with the ball and had a good partnership going as well during the chase but then they could not get the momentum after the 10 overs and that cost them the match. Rues the dropped catches and their bowling in the middle overs. On his batting spot, Sarfaraz replies that the batting position has been the same for quite a while and they wanted to try out as many players as possible before the next series. Admits that they have to work hard in all the three departments and feels that they have to improve their game mainly in the middle overs. Concludes by thanking the Sri Lankan team for visiting Pakistan and having a good series.

WANINDU HASARANGA IS THE MAN OF THE MATCH AND SERIES! Says that this has been the best that he has bowled in his career. Further adds that he looks to take wickets with his wrong 'uns. On absorbing pressure, Wanindu replies that he tries to bowl as many dot balls as he can.

Sri Lanka were brilliant in the field. Unlike Pakistan, they were alert and the intensity was top notch. Kasun Rajitha and Lahiru Kumara bowled with a lot of fire and mixed their variations smartly. Wanindu Hasaranga once again stood out and finished with a 3-wicket haul, truly a find for the Islanders. They judged the nature of the pitch and bowled accordingly and it reflects their refreshed mindset as a unit. Earlier in their batting innings, a delightful knock by Oshada Fernando and his partnership with Dasun Shanaka helped Sri Lanka to a respectable total which turned out to be 13 too many for the hosts.

Right at the beginning of the run chase, Pakistan lost Fakhar Zaman on the first ball. After that Haris Sohail and Babar Azam constructed a partnership but it was on the slower side. That didn't take care of the required rate. Babar was rusty in his innings while Haris also slowed down after a promising start. Sri Lanka should be commended for the way they kept their patience when the partnership was developing. All their bowlers stuck to the task and varied their pace judiciously. Eventually, the 76-run stand was broken and the Pakistani chase got derailed. The batsmen who followed never got going and found it tough to time their shots on a pitch which was holding up.

Handshakes all around! Smiling faces. The Lankan lads are celebrating. They were inexperienced and under a new captain but played fearless cricket to clean sweep the series. The young guns have achieved something that even Sri Lanka's 'first-choice team' has never achieved - A series whitewash in T20Is! Kudos to them. They have outperformed the number 1 T20I side! The Sri Lankan boys are taking a lap of honour to thank the crowd.

L Madushanka to I Ahmed, SRI LANKA WIN BY 13 RUNS! Back of a length delivery around off, Iftikhar rocks back and punches it square of the wicket on the off side for a run. The Lankan players are running in celebration. Fireworks around the ground!
L Madushanka to W Riaz, Another dipping full toss on middle, it's hit down to long on for just a run. The crowd has gone silent.
L Madushanka to W Riaz, A full toss on middle, it's heaved down to deep mid-wicket for a couple. All over for Pakistan.
L Madushanka to W Riaz, Fullish and outside off, Wahab reaches out for it and hits it aerially over backward point. It doesn't carry to the fielder in the deep and they take a couple of runs. Three sixes needed now for a win!
L Madushanka to W Riaz, SIX! High and handsome! Shades of Martin Guptill in this shot. Wahab has hit it without even looking up. Too full and around off, Riaz throws all his power behind this shot and hoists it over the bowler's head.
L Madushanka to I Ahmed, Very full length ball on off, Ahmed drills his drive through covers and takes a single.
L Madushanka to I Ahmed, Wide! Madushanka begins the last over with a fuller length ball wide outside off, Iftikhar allows it through.

28 runs needed. Lahiru Madushanka to bowl the final over. 24 is the most hit by a batter in the last over of a T20I. It was Carlos Brathwaite who did that against England in the World T20 final. Can Pakistan do it?

K Rajitha to W Riaz, Swing and miss! Rajitha lets out a skiddy delivery on a fuller length wide outside off, Wahab goes for an almighty heave at it but misses. 4-0-17-1, a top spell by the speedster.
K Rajitha to I Ahmed, Pitches it up and in the line of the off stump, it's driven through point for just a single.
K Rajitha to W Riaz, Gets behind the line of the ball and hits it firmly past the left side of the bowler. A half stop there and they cross.
K Rajitha to I Ahmed, Forces it down through mid on for a single.
K Rajitha to I Ahmed, Shortish and around off, a mistimed pull shot down towards long off for a couple of runs. Didn't come from the middle of the bat.
K Rajitha to I Ahmed, FOUR! Bang! Full toss angling into the batsman, Iftikhar gets behind the line and clobbers it over his partner's head for a rocketing boundary at long on.

Wahab Riaz is in now. Kasun Rajitha to bowl the penultimate over of the match.

W Hasaranga to S Ahmed, OUT! Bowled 'em! A superb wrong 'un at 77 kph, delivered to perfection by Hasaranga. It's around off and turning back in, Sarfaraz stands back to heave it across the line but misses the ball completely. It doesn't miss the off pole though. A sorry knock by the skipper comes to a sorry end. Third wicket for Hasaranga, another eventful evening for the leggie.
W Hasaranga to S Ahmed, Goes down on one knee for a big slog across the line but it takes the inside edge and strikes him on the pads. Two dot balls.
W Hasaranga to S Ahmed, Flighted and around middle and leg, Sarfaraz fails to middle his attempted shot properly.
W Hasaranga to I Ahmed, Slower delivery, short and close to off, Iftikhar cuts it to point for one.
W Hasaranga to I Ahmed, SIX! Up and just over the jumping long off fielder! This is quite incredible. Two batsmen have fallen looking for a six and in comes a new batsman and he manages to clear the rope. Tossed up ball outside off, landing full, Iftikhar hammers it down the ground and gets it over Angelo Perera.

Iftikhar Ahmed is in at 7.

W Hasaranga to A Ali, OUT! Another one bites the distance! Hasaranga gives his delivery some extra toss and lands it very full around off, Asif hangs back and tries to clear long on. But his bat turns in his hands and he towers it high in the air towards long on. Gunathilaka takes the skier safely and Pakistan lose half their side. 44 needed off 17 balls.
L Kumara to S Ahmed, A slower ball to finish the over. Sarfaraz goes hard at this good length ball outside off. Uses all his power but the ball is too slow and he goes with the shot early but misses. End of a top spell from Kumara, 2 for 24 in his four overs.
L Kumara to A Ali, Full on middle, Asif Ali pushes it towards long on for a run.

Asif Ali is the new man in.

L Kumara to I Wasim, OUT! Imad Wasim holes out! Kumara deceives the batsman with a slower one. He lands it in the slot for the left-hander but takes the pace off the ball. Wasim lines behind the delivery and tries to pump it over long on. But there isn't enough meat on the shot and Hasaranga near the fence jumps to take the catch over his head. Wheels are coming off for Pakistan. 45 needed off 20 balls.
L Kumara to S Ahmed, Slower one around off this time, Sarfaraz slaps it through cover-point for a run.
L Kumara to S Ahmed, FOUR! Not out of the middle but Pakistan and Sarfaraz won't mind it. A good length ball around off, Sarfaraz looks to go big on the leg side but gets a leading edge which goes over the short third man fielder and runs to the fence.
L Kumara to I Wasim, On the pads on a fullish length, worked towards deep mid-wicket for a single.

Lahiru Kumara into the attack now.

W Hasaranga to I Wasim, The batsman has just lofted it over mid off. They pick up a single.
W Hasaranga to I Wasim, Quicker and flatter on off, defended from the back foot.
W Hasaranga to S Ahmed, Risky, very risky from Sarfaraz. A googly. Flat and on middle. A bit on the shorter side. Sarfaraz goes deep inside the crease and plays it very late. Cuts it almost off the middle stump. Finds point but still a single is taken.
W Hasaranga to S Ahmed, Wrong 'un landing on a fuller length around off, Ahmed gets forward and pushes it back off the inner half.
W Hasaranga to I Wasim, Quicker one and outside off, punched through mid off for a single.

Asif Ali or Iftikhar Ahmed at this stage? Oh interesting - It's Imad Wasim. Maybe, the left-hander is elevated to counter the leg spinner.

W Hasaranga to H Sohail, OUT! Stumped! Hasaranga strikes! A googly that deceives Sohail. The scoreboard pressure has got the better of the batsman. The asking rate was over 10 and Sohail decides to go after the leg spinner. Hasaranga smartly floats this googly outside off, Sohail skips down the track too early to hammer it down the ground but the ball turns away to beat his bat. Samarawickrama behind the wickets collects the ball and breaks the stumps easily. A good knock by Sohail but Pakistan needed him to last the distance on this slowish surface.

Wanindu Hasaranga is back on. 2-0-11-0, so far.

K Rajitha to H Sohail, Full toss outside off, Sohail reaches out at the ball but can't get the timing right. The ball goes over the cover-point region for a single. 54 runs needed in 30 balls.
K Rajitha to S Ahmed, Another full ball around off, Sarfaraz jams it to the left of the bowler who dives to stop the ball. Does well but parries it towards cover and allows the single.
K Rajitha to S Ahmed, Shortish length ball outside off, Sarfaraz cuts it through point and gets a couple now.
K Rajitha to H Sohail, Goes for another yorker but this is a low full toss. Sohail lobs it uppishly towards long on for a run.
K Rajitha to H Sohail, A yorker around off this time. Sohail digs it out.
