So that is all from this game! However, it is not end of the cricketing action tonight. There is another game coming your way and it is a clash between Kolkata and Delhi. Do join us for that in a bit as there is not a lot of time to go for the game to begin. Till then, take care and goodbye!
Rajasthan did not have enough on the board! They were at least 20 runs short. Their bowlers to be honest can't be blamed. Archer and Gopal were really good. Tewatia too did decently. Curran and Unadkat were not at their best. Defending moderate totals you need a combined effort from the bowlers but that was not to be. Also, the fielding was not upto the mark. They did not look sharp. Overall it is a performance Rajasthan will not be pleased with.
How good was that chase from Bangalore! Yes, the total was not a huge one but we have seen totals around the 160-run mark be tricky in this edition but this was done with ease. They did lose Finch early but then Padikkal and Kohli showed their class, they played aggressively in the Powerplay and then cleverly nudged it around, never let the pressure build and always got a boundary or two when needed. The two added a 99-run stand with both scoring half tons. Padikkal did not stay there till the end but he did his job along with the skipper. De Villiers then came in and ensured there were no more wickets as Bangalore win their second game in a row.
Tom Curran is back on.
DRINKS! Bangalore have lost the wicket of Padikkal just before the final break. They have done well throughout the chase and they would want Kohli to stay till the end. On the other hand, Rajasthan need more wickets to make a comeback in this match. AB de Villiers is the new batsman in.
Rahul Tewatia is back on.
Jofra Archer is back on. 2-0-10-0 are his figures so far.
The first double-header day of the 2020 edition of the Indian T20 League is here! It will be Rajasthan facing Bangalore in the first match of Super Saturday and we cannot wait to see how it unfolds. Bangalore are coming off a victory against Mumbai but it was not convincing at all. They should have won that game comfortably but they let Mumbai off the hook and the game went to the Super Over which they eventually won. Their batting was good with AB de Villiers leading the charge but they will be a tad worried about the form of their skipper, Virat Kohli and they will hope that he comes good sooner than later. The biggest concern for them would be their death over bowling as their problems keep on building and they would want to rectify that. Rajasthan, on the other hand, started their tournament so well, winning two out of two but they failed to adjust to the bigger ground in Dubai as they faced their first loss of the tournament against Kolkata. Their bowling was not bad and did extremely well but it is their batting which needs to step up. Jos Buttler has failed to get going so far while Smith and Samson had an off day against Kolkata. They will hope that their batting comes good and they get back to winning ways. Will Rajasthan get the better of Bangalore or will Bangalore get their third win of the tournament?
