Match number 51 of the Indian T20 League and we are in the City of Dreams for this one. Mumbai versus Hyderabad, third versus fourth, this game is a massive one for both sides as well as the other teams who have hopes of qualifying for the top four. The hosts are on 14 points and the away side is on 12 points. The Boys from Bollywood come into this game after a big defeat in Kolkata. In fact, they have lost 2 of their last 3 games and seem to be a little inconsistent at a stage the teams would love to rack up wins. Rohit Sharma and co. would like to quickly forget and put the previous loss behind them as they still need a win to confirm their spot in the playoffs. Their bowling attack was taken apart at the Eden Gardens and they need to improve on that front as they welcome Hyderabad to the Wankhede stadium on Thursday evening. Hardik Pandya was at his belligerent best in that game and it was one of the few positives the blue brigade had in that game. Back on home turf though, they'd believe they can get back to winning ways especially against the away side which has been weakened quite significantly due to the loss of their talisman opener, David Warner who has left for the national side's preparation for the World Cup. Hyderabad most definitely will replace him with Martin Guptill and will hope that the Kiwi can replicate the form of his Trans-Tasman neighbor. The visitors will know that even though a win can take them through to the playoffs on basis of net run rate from here, it will be better for them if they can win both their final games and get to the top 4 on basis of points instead. A game of huge significance this, another team which will be watching this closely will be Rajasthan as a win for Hyderabad means they are out of the reckoning for the final four this season. All to play for, expect a really closely-fought contest, you do not want to miss this one!
