Kyle Mills is the Man of the Match for his figures of 4/16.
We do have a few contenders for the Man of the Match. Ross Taylor for his maiden century, Ryan Sidebottom for his six wickets(including the hat-trick) and of course Kyle Mills, who was instrumental in the Kiwi victory today. Stay tuned..
New Zealand win by 189 runs. The first three days belonged to the batsmen and lead us to believe this match was heading for a draw. An excellent spell from Sidebottom saw New Zealand crumble yesterday and an inspired bowling performance from Mills to get rid of the English top order meant England were in danger straightaway. The fact that the 10th wicket partnership was the highest of the innings pretty much sums up England's batting performance. New Zealand then go 1-0 up in this 3 Test series. Do join us for the second test starting on Thursday as England look to avenge this defeat.
