Well, this was Andrew Symonds' last match for the Deccan Chargers. He'll be flying out tomorrow night. Do join us tomorrow for match between Bangalore Royal Challengers vs Chennai Superkings.
Gilchrist is the Man of the Match: "It was a beautiful wicket. The ball came on better later on. A much better all-round performance from us. Our bowlers did a good job to contain them. The crowd was amazing."
Laxman: "The way Adam played was wonderful. The bowlers bowled a disciplined line and length. On his day he can destroy any attack. The fielding can be better, the bowlers stuck to the job and it was a total team effort."
Pollock: "I think he(Gilchrist) played superbly well. When someone like him gets going it's difficult. We haven't got off to a great start, we need to put pressure on teams from the start."
A thumping 10-wicket win then for the Deccan Chargers. Gilchrist smashed ten sixes as he blasted his way to the fastest century of the tournament. He was also involved in the highest opening partnership with Laxman who chipped in with 36 as Mumbai Indians slipped to the bottom of the table. Stay tuned for the presentation...
