Ponting thinks that Australia were 20-30 runs short. Also a couple of close shaves went in favour of Sachin early on and he went on to play a super innings from there on. He thinks Australians have got to get it right mentally, as such as they arent playing bad cricket.
India go 1-0 up in the finals then thanks mainly to a brilliant century from Tendulkar, helped by an outstanding Rohit Sharma, who contributed a valuable 66. Their partnership of 123 for the fourth wicket was instrumental in sealing this victory.
