| That was a fabulous effort by the Indians. Once again a clinical performance by them. They won the toss and got another big score today. Gambhir getting a big hundred and Mahendra Singh Dhoni scoring 94. It was always going to be tough for Sri Lanka even without Zaheer. Jayasuriya and Dilshan responded well with a brisk partnership and Jayawardene and Sangakkara got together in a good stand as well but that was not enough as the part timers ran through the middle order in the middle overs. Can India make 5 on 5 and get that number one spot in the rankings is the big question. We will find out in a couple of days. Till then it is good bye and good night from all of us... |

He held fort when India lost Dhoni, Yuvraj and Pathan in quick succession and then took the charge to ensure that India score well in excess of 300. He registered his Highest ODI Score and also the Highest Individual Score by any batsman on Lankan soil. |
