That is that for the super league stage friends and it is time to enter the knock out phase now. We have a day's break before the first semi final. Do join us then. Till then it is good bye and good night from me Nishant Majithia and Srivathsa.
PRESENTATION
Gautam Gambhir: We have given something for the crowd to cheer for. We wanted to finish on a high and we did so. Dirk Nannes has been brilliant and the pace at which he has managed to bowl on these tracks is commendable. Owais batted very sensibly and enabled us to get to that total of 114. Thanks to the crowd for giving us all the support.
Andrew Puttick: Looking at things now, I think it would have been better had we batted first. We are disappointed to have lost tonight but then the good thing is that we will be now playing the semis on our favourite surface in Hyderabad.
Owais Shah: I really struggled to get off the mark but once you get in, it was pretty okay to bat. I was just happy taking the ones and twos. The guys bowled very well and it was very crucial for them to do so.
Owais Shah is the Man of the Match
Superb effort this by Delhi. They managed to defend a paltry total and that was possible because of a superb bowling display. The bowlers were disciplined and used the demons in the pitch as their weapons. None of the batsmen could really battle the problems and in the end, it was a sorry state of affairs for the Cobras. Stay connected for the presentation.
