| Ohh how can the West Indians discover ways of losing a match that is in their kitty and they do it so consistently and so well. Sorry for sounding harsh but it is indeed incredible that the Windies, who were coasting along at one stage and looked set to clinch the match, actually lost it. As long as Gayle, Chanderpaul and Bravo were at the crease, the West Indians looked comfortable but it was only in the penultimate over that they actually lost their way. You can't take credit away from the Australians for holding their nerves and pulling off a fine win here. Clarke as skipper, would be happy to have won this match while the disappointment was clearly visible on Gayle's face. They have another chance to salvage some pride, that is in the last ODI on Sunday. Till then it is good bye and good night from all of us... |
