This has been a clinical performance by the Sri Lankans, a complete all-round display from them and this has truly been a fabulous way to start off their Asia Cup campaign. They batted beautifully to post a daunting total and they won half their battle in the innings break itself. Bangladesh never got off to a good start and they lost wickets far too regularly to settle well in the run-chase. One would throw a lot of questions at the Bangladeshi skipper so as to why he chose to field first on a track which had absolutely nothing in it for the bowlers. Once again, the batting failed for the Bangladeshis and this is high time that they do some serious thinking to get their act together. Hope you had a good time following this game. Do join us tomorrow for yet another battle. Till then from all of us here in the comm box, Adios...
Kumar Sangakkara is the Man of the Match for his splendid knock of 101 off just 91 balls. He also grabbed two catches and effected one stumping.
