Venue: Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, St Lucia
Date: 09 February-13 February, 2019
RR: 3.60 | England beat West Indies by 232 runs
Joe Denly to roll his arm over now.
Keemo Paul is the last man in. He was stretchered off yesterday, but he comes in to help a mate reach three figures. Brilliant comradeship!
Ben Stokes is now into the attack.
Keemo Paul who was out injured early on Day 3 is seen padded up. Surprise for everyone that.
We now see Keemo Paul padded up in the pavillion. Hmmm...
DRINKS! Please finish this game soon, England. Yours sincerely, a Man united fan. Joseph had his fun in the middle but held out. Roston Chase is on 78 and deserves a 100. Just 1 wicket needed for the visitors to wrap this game up.
Review time... Roston Chase has been given out LBW here but he has reviewed almost immediately. Looks like he feels that he has hit that ball.
Stuart Broad to have a bowl now.
Alzarri Joseph is in at number 9.
The batsman pulls out... Looks like something or someone has moved in front of the sightscreen.
Moeen Ali to bowl from the other end.
We are back for the final session of play on the fourth day. Roston Chase and Kemar Roach to try and keep the hosts in the game. Chase to face Mark Wood.
... Day 4, Session 3 ...
Another session that belongs to England in the context of the Test match. 101 runs for the Windies but the away team has truckloads of runs left with them. The important fact is that they have picked up 2 wickets. Roston Chase has battled at one end but Shimron Hetmyer and Shane Dowrich left him mid-way through the battle. Now, he is alongside Kemar Roach which means that the original number 8, Keemo Paul might not be able to turn out to bat. That means, England will need 3 wickets. As for the hosts, their main aim will be to take this game as deep as possible. How will the final session pan out? Join us at 1500 local time to find out...
Joe Denly to roll his arm over before the Tea break.
Kemar Roach is next to the middle. That means, no Paul? At least for now...
James Anderson is back on now.
DRINKS! With that wicket, the players take the Drinks break. Hetmyer and Chase were going along well and now some lazy running has cost them a wicket. Just 5 more wickets for the visitors to wrap this up. And if Paul doesn't come to bat, then four. Meanwhile, Shane Dowrich replaces Hetmyer in the middle.
Run-out appeal taken upstairs... Bairstow takes off the stumps at the keeper's end as the throw comes in. Unnecessary from the Windies. Don't know what the hurry was from them. Hetmyer isn't waiting for the signal even as it is taken upstairs. Looked like he was out to the naked eye.
Mark Wood to have a burst now.
Moeen Ali is into the attack now.
Stuart Broad to bowl from the other end.
We are back for the post-Lunch session. The England players walk out and will look to wrap this game as soon as possible. For the home side, Shimron Hetmyer and Roston Chase will look to bat for as long as possible and tease the opposition. Will we see a third session today? James Anderson will have the first burst.
... Day 4, Session 2 ...
At the start of the Day, England played just 5.2 overs, scored some quick runs and set Windies a target of 485. The hosts will be disappointed with their batting. All of their wickets have fallen to loose shots. They have lost their top order and are starring down the barrel. The way they have batted, this could possibly even be the last session of the match. Let's wait and watch, join us back in a short while for the second session of play...
What a dream start for the England bowlers. They couldn't have asked for anything more. Anderson started it off along with Broad. The former picked up three wickets and rocked the hosts back. Broad was unlucky to not get a wicket but bowled tight lines. Wood then came on and removed Hope after he along with Chase bunted down a few balls.
The new man in is Shimron Hetmyer.
A false start... Wood seems to have landed a bit gingerly and pulls out just before delivering the ball. Feels his knee but looks to be okay to continue as he walks back to the bowling mark...
Mark Wood, the hero of the first innings is now on.
Ben Stokes is now on for a bowl.
The ground staff are seen circling around the boundary. They are expecting a few showers it looks like...
Roston Chase is in at number 5.
Now then! England have taken an LBW review. Looks like height is an issue. The umpire was quick to say no. Root thinks other ways.
Darren Bravo is the new man in.
Shai Hope is in at no. 3.
