commentary

Pakistan celebrate with the trophy. It's been a great tour for them, starting off with the T20 tri-series win and followed by a 5-0 drubbing of the hosts in the ODIs. The extent of their domination could be slightly misleading, given how weak Zimbabwe are in their current state, but make no mistake, this is a really strong Pakistan outfit under a superb leader. We'll find out more about them in the near future, against tougher opposition, but for now they can rejoice. That's it from us. This is Sagar Chawla signing off on behalf of Abhinand Raghavendran and our scorer Siva. Goodbye!

Sarfraz Ahmed, Pakistan captain: Great team effort. Wanted to finish on high note. Fakhar Zaman, Imam, Babar did the job for us. We are happy to try some combinations, players responded well. Need one month rest. Will go home, then will proceed to training, tough tours lined up.

Fakhar Zaman, MoS: Really enjoyed it here. In 2016, I was with Pakistan A over here and enjoyed it a lot. I was taking my time at the start, was punishing bad deliveries, that was the main thing for me. I will work hard and hopefully you'll see me scoring more runs for my country.

Masakadza, Zimbabwe captain: Slightly better with the bat. We weren't three down for 34. Got starts all the way down, but no one pushed on. Wanted to try and aim for 250-270. Few of the guys have been introduced to international cricket. We've been shown how big a gap there is.

16:39 Local Time, 14:39 GMT, 20:09 IST: That, most definitely, wasn't a run-chase. Zimbabwe made no effort to go for the target, they were happy to play out the fifty overs which they achieved, but it certainly didn't make for gripping TV. Pakistan's total of 364, set up by centuries from Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam, proved daunting enough to drain any sense of ambition out of the hosts. With that, they complete their 5-0 series sweep. Their top-order dominated with the bat right through, while the bowling was clinical all-round. Fielding still leaves a lot to be desired though, with catches going down for fun. We'll hear more from Sarfraz at the presentations, if all those nuggets from the stump mic weren't enough already.
