We have had three successive matches now, where the teams batting first have won. The trends have certainly changed. As DK said, the wrist-spinners continue to make merry in this tournament. A rare one-sided T20 League affair, today from the Eden Gardens. Tomorrow, it's the high-voltage clash between Mumbai and Bangalore at the Wankhede. Good luck, if you are a bowler. Virat Kohli versus Rohit Sharma. Do join us. Until then, it's goodbye from Abhinand Raghavendran, Pradeep, Srivathsa, Sagar Chawla, Nikhil Jadhav and our scorer Sreenivas.

- Sunil Narine is the third player to take 100 T20 League wickets; first foreign spinner to do so.

Nitish Rana, Man of the Match: It's a good feeling as this is my first season for KOL and I wanted to perform well. Unluckily I got out on the previous two occasions, hence this was an important knock for me. This was also an important game for us as we lost the previous two matches. I get to know about the type of ball just by looking at the field, I get a fair idea about it. The other team had planned not to bowl outside off but when they bowled at my body I went for the shots and it came off. When the ball is in my range, I go ahead with the shot and I managed to do it tonight.

Dinesh Karthik: (On Iyer's dismissal) We have done a bit of planning. It was a fantastic catch from Nitish Rana. Wins keep you happy and you are slowly there. Touchwood, this is the kind of the day, where you make a move and it works. Feel good as a captain. Wrist spinners in T20 League are picked for a certain purpose. We have three top quality spinners. They are standing up. It's good to see. (When asked to rate his captaincy) You should tell me that (chuckles). It's going well. You sleep with a lot of thoughts, you wake up with a lot of thoughts, something I'm getting used to. Need to balance those thoughts and try to separate batting from captaincy.

Sunil Narine (purple cap) - I am not still exactly 100% with the ball, but I am doing whatever the team wants me to do. Doing the basics and not allowing too many things to cloud my mind. It's coming well at the moment. That's cricket (team without Gambhir), but that's part and parcel of the game, we all put heart and soul into the game and he now belongs to another team. I think I am slightly different as a spinner, but I believe in accuracy and keeping the ball as straight as possible, that's working well for me.

Gautam Gambhir: "We have to give it to KOL, they played really well. One stage we thought they couldn't get 170-175 but then getting to 200 was a good effort by them. We knew it was going to be a stiff chase as they have three quality spinners. I thought we tried our level best but we couldn't execute the plans well. Someone like Russell when he starts to take on the bowlers it's difficult to contain him. We even tried bowling from round the wicket. We had different plans but it was difficult to execute the plans. Lot of balls we bowled into his radar. It's important for us to win the games at home, there are about 5 of them we're playing at home. The next game is important for us if we can take a win. If we get a win in Bangalore the confidence will be better. We still have 10 games left and a lot of hard work to do."

23:20 Local Time, 17:50 GMT, 23:20 IST: Well, that fell apart pretty quickly. Didn't it? Chasing a target of 201, Delhi lost three wickets in three overs, but that didn't derail their innings. Rishabh Pant, along with Maxwell, went after the KOL bowlers and they kept the required run rate under check. They were involved in a 62-run stand. But, both of them were removed by half-trackers from Kuldeep Yadav. The Delhi just collapsed from there. They lost their last 7 wickets for 43 runs in 35 balls. This was definitely not a track to get skittled out for 129. A poor performance from the Delhi batsmen. Earlier, it was Andre Russell and Nitish Rana who powered the hosts to an above-par score. Hang around for the presentations.

Kuldeep Yadav to Boult, out Caught&Bowled!! It's over. Flighted delivery attacking the stumps, Boult chips it straight back to the bowler. Kuldeep Yadav gobbles it just above his head. Kolkata win by 71 runs. Boult c and b Kuldeep Yadav 0(2)

Kuldeep Yadav to Boult, THAT'S OUT!! Caught&Bowled!!

Kuldeep Yadav to Nadeem, 1 run, the length is too full and that's been forced to deep extra cover
Narine to Boult, no run, Boult brings his bat down hurriedly to block the offie

Trent Boult, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Narine to Shami, out Caught by A Russell!! Shami departs. This was on the cards. He slogged from ball one and perishes. Chips down the track to smash the offie over deep mid-wicket. No timing whatsoever - courtesy the bat turned at the point of impact. Russell runs to his left from mid-wicket and pouches it with ease. Shami c A Russell b Narine 7(6) [4s-1]

Narine to Shami, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

Narine to Nadeem, 1 run, Nadeem plays in the direction of the spin to wrist this ball to deep mid-wicket
Narine to Shami, 1 run, the carrom ball, Shami jogged down and had to adjust as the length was shortened. Shami did well there to open his bat-face and guide it square of the wicket
Narine to Nadeem, 1 run, shorter in length, Nadeem stands tall and forces it to sweeper cover
Narine to Nadeem, no run, in-turner from a length, Nadeem is early to close his bat-face, gets hit on the body. Going down
Kuldeep Yadav to Shami, FOUR, more flight on this ball and Shami eyes the mid-wicket region. Swings hard and gets a fat outside edge that goes over the slip fielder. Runs away to the third man fence
Kuldeep Yadav to Shami, no run, pushed through wide of off, Shami clears his front leg and misses the cut
Kuldeep Yadav to Nadeem, 1 run, shortish googly, mistimed slap to sweeper cover
Kuldeep Yadav to Nadeem, no run, pushed to covers
Kuldeep Yadav to Shami, 1 run, there's the mighty swing of the bat from Shami and the ball balloons up off the edge. Went miles up, luckily for the batter, falls in the no-man's land - around mid-on
Kuldeep Yadav to Nadeem, 1 run, juicy full toss, Nadeem mistimes the clip horribly wide of long-on. That was tossed above the batter's eye-line

A slip in place.

Narine to Nadeem, 1 run, very full outside off, squeezed to sweeper cover

Shahbaz Nadeem, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Narine to Vijay Shankar, out Lbw!! Vijay Shankar is given out lbw and he reviews. Fair delivery. No bat involved. The impact was just above the kneeroll in front of off. What does the ball-tracker say? Three reds and Shankar goes off taking the only review with him. DEL are falling apart here, without a fight. Turns in from a short of length and beats Shankar's clip/flick. He wasn't forward as well. The umpire raised the finger quickly. Vijay Shankar lbw b Narine 2(4)

Narine to Vijay Shankar, THAT'S OUT!! Lbw!!

Narine to Shami, 1 run, turns the off-break to backward square leg

Mohammed Shami, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Narine to Chris Morris, out Bowled!! 100 T20 League wickets for Sunil Narine! No reaction from the Caribbean; as usual. The off-break from Narine doesn't spin much. Goes straight and crashes into the off-pole. And what was Morris doing? He backed away a long way to loft it over covers. Missed it by a mile. Beaten on the outside edge. Seven down. Chris Morris b Narine 2(3)

Narine to Chris Morris, THAT'S OUT!! Bowled!!

Narine to Vijay Shankar, 1 run, shorter and flatter, punched down to long-on
Narine to Chris Morris, 1 run, off-break on middle and leg, worked to deep mid-wicket

Sunil Narine [1.0-0-11-0] is back into the attack

Kuldeep Yadav to Chris Morris, 1 run, in-turner, push-driven to long-on

Chris Morris, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Kuldeep Yadav to Maxwell, out Caught by Uthappa!! Tries to go for the third maximum on the trot and perishes. Hey bowlers, need a wicket? Bowl half-trackers. That's what Kuldeep did. He's bowled two and has two wickets. Was the short leg-break from the left-arm spinner, Maxwell spotted it and went deep in his crease. Pull too hard and loses his shape. Miscued and picked Uthappa at deep mid-wicket. A big wicket, this. Maxwell c Uthappa b Kuldeep Yadav 47(22) [4s-3 6s-4]

Kuldeep Yadav to Maxwell, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

Kuldeep Yadav to Maxwell, SIX, back-to-back sixes. Quicker delivery, too straight as well, that's been bludgeoned over deep mid-wicket with a mighty swing of the bat
Kuldeep Yadav to Maxwell, SIX, that's been palmed over the ropes! Mavi, the fielder. Was a slow, flighted delivery. Slightly too full, Maxwell goes hard on the lofted on-drive and doesn't time it too well. Mavi moved to his right and probably didn't time his jump well. Gets a hand, but that's been parried away. SIX
Kuldeep Yadav to Maxwell, no run, tries the reverse-sweep and misses
Kuldeep Yadav to Maxwell, 2 runs, drifting across, Maxwell stays back and heaves it away, muscled. Mavi, from long-on, sprints to his right and makes a diving stop

Halfway through the chase, Delhi have lost half their side. They've scored almost half the required score as well.

Tom Curran to Vijay Shankar, no run, fuller length delivery outside off, Vijay Shankar plays with an open face and finds backward point. There's a fumble from Rana and the batsman wants a run, sensibly sent back by Maxwell
Tom Curran to Maxwell, 1 run, the slower ball from Curran, driven square on the off-side for a single
