So, that brings an end to the Australian leg of this tri-series. The results show how dominating the Aussies have been. Who will the seal the other spot? There are still three more matches left to find that out. Wellington will be hosting the next game between New Zealand and England. We'll be back for that. Until then, it's goodbye from Abhinand Raghavendran on behlaf of Pratyush Sinha and Nikhil Jadhav.

Warner: They have been in tremendous form. They are playing with freedom and they are playing fearless. The pitch had a little bit in it if you bowled that good length. The way they executed was fantastic. The way the batters finished was clinical. Credit to the bowlers, allowed them to set their own fields, they've accepted the responsibilty and delivered. He (Short) is a fantastic player. He has shown us that he has a different gear. He played that anchor role. It's exciting. I love to go to New Zealand. As a player, it's deceptive that ground at Eden Park. Looking forward to that challenge.

Kane Richardson, Man of the Match: Interesting choice, but I'll take it. When you've got Marcus and Ashton bowling so well, it makes your job easier. It's been fun. Everyone seems to be knowing their roles. There is a lot of clarity in the team.

Jos Buttler: Another poor performance from us. We didn't soak up the pressure with the bat. None of us really got going. They've got some good players. We haven't performed to our abilities. Looking forward to NZ. We look forward to those games. We didn't do justice to ourselves.

22:16 Local Time, 11:16 GMT, 16:46 IST: Three wins in three matches and Australia guarantee a spot in the final. A magnificent performance from the home team. Chasing a par-score, Australia lost their skipper Warner in the very first over. But, that didn't stop Lynn from going after the bowlers. He came out all guns blazing and his quickfire 31 off 19 brought the asking rate down to 6. After his dismissal, D'Arcy Short was joined by the in-form Maxwell and together they just took the game away from the Englishmen. They took special liking to the spinners, scoring 39 off two overs and the game was dusted there. Finch, with his lusty blows, ensured an early finish. A thumping win with 33 balls to spare.

Willey to Finch, SIX, Finch finishes it off with a couple of sixes. Willey bangs one short and provides width outside off which allows the batter to free his arms. Finch hops and upper-cuts it behind square on the off-side. Well over the boundary rope in the third man region and Australia win by 7 wickets
Willey to Finch, SIX, oh my goodness! That's been absolutely muscled. He backed away even before the ball was delivered. It was a slower ball, the local boy waited for the ball and bludgeoned it over long-on for a massive six. Incredible hit

Willey shifts to round the wicket

Willey to D Arcy Short, 1 run, slower ball on the pads, tickled to short fine leg

David Willey [3.0-0-17-1] is back into the attack

Jordan to Finch, FOUR, another mistimed shot and another boundary. That's the power of Finch. Off the inside part of the bat. This was bowled on the fuller side and Finch went hard on the drill. The ball found the gap between mid-on and rolled away
Jordan to Finch, FOUR, short again and Finch goes for the pull, although he wasn't in a good position. Gets it off his glove and hence the ball went very fine. Beats the diving fine leg fielder and Finch notches up his maiden boundary
Jordan to Finch, no run, Finch is late on his pull against this short ball. Gets a faint edge as the ball rolls to backward square leg
Jordan to D Arcy Short, 1 run, slow and short, a controlled pull shot to deep backward square leg
Jordan to D Arcy Short, no run, Jordan gets away with this poor ball. Length and down the leg-side, Short misses the glance. Brushes the pad on its way to the keeper

Aaron Finch, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Jordan to Maxwell, out Caught by Buttler!! Maxwell is gone, but he has done the damage. It was banged in short by Jordan and the Victorian all-rounder wanted to flat-bat it over the bowler's head. All he manages is a top-edge, which balloons up and settles into the safe gloves of Buttler. Maxwell c Buttler b Jordan 39(26) [4s-3 6s-2]

Jordan to Maxwell, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

Chris Jordan [2.0-0-17-1] is back into the attack

Adil Rashid to Maxwell, 1 run, a wristy stroke to milk a single as the ball rolls to long-on
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, wide, googly, spinning down leg
Adil Rashid to D Arcy Short, 1 run, worked in the direction of the spin to deep mid-wicket
Adil Rashid to D Arcy Short, no run, an appeal for caught-behind and the umpire shakes his head in disapproval. England decide to review. Fair delivery. A leg-spin turning down leg, Short goes for the glance and the ball definitely brushes the pad before settling into the mitts of the keeper. No spot on HotSpot and no spike on the UltraEdge. The onfield call stays. England lose their only review
Adil Rashid to D Arcy Short, no run, Maxwell, who is almost halfway down, is sent back. Tapped off the back foot towards backward point and Short was ball-watching
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, 1 run, backs away to smash an in-drifter to long-on
Adil Rashid to D Arcy Short, 1 run, the googly outside off, Short stays back to punch it in front of square on the off-side
Tom Curran to D Arcy Short, 1 run, full toss on the pads, Short helps to along its away to fine leg by flicking it away. Just a single
Tom Curran to Maxwell, 1 run, a high full toss from Curran following a backing away Maxwell. Nudged towards mid-wicket for a single. Just below the waist
Tom Curran to Maxwell, 2 runs, back of a length delivery, Maxwell gets on top of it and tucks it behind square on the leg-side. He called for two right away after making contact
Tom Curran to Maxwell, wide, off-paced delivery from Curran, but errs in line by slipping it down the leg-side. Maxwell moves across and lets it be
Tom Curran to Maxwell, no run, skiddy bouncer, Maxwell arches his back to try the upper-cut. Misses
Tom Curran to D Arcy Short, 1 run, short of length on the pads, deflected to fine leg
Tom Curran to Maxwell, 1 run, low full toss, Maxwell closes his bat-face to work it to deep mid-wicket

Tom Curran [1.0-0-16-0] is back into the attack

Adil Rashid to Maxwell, 1 run, ah! He wants the strike. Cuts this away-turner to sweeper cover for a single. 39 off the last two overs!
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, FOUR, 4, 4, 6 and now another 4. Maxwell is just toying with Rashid. Rashid bowls a flatter ball, doesn't matter for Maxwell, who hacks it over mid-wicket with a big heave. Finds the gap between long-on and deep mid-wicket
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, SIX, the Big Show is in the mood. Another in-drifter that ends up right in Maxwell's slot. Takes the left leg out of his way and smites it over deep mid-wicket
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, FOUR, hammered! Too full and around off, bludgeoned over the bowler's head
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, FOUR, finally gets a boundary with his pet shot - reverse sweep. All too cheek! There wasn't too much width on this flat ball just outside off. Gets enough bat on it and the ball trickles away fine of the short third man fielder. 1000 T20I runs for Maxi!
Adil Rashid to D Arcy Short, 1 run, nurdled to mid-wicket
Liam Dawson to Maxwell, SIX, 19 from the over and the required rate is now below 6. This was bowled slower by Dawson, Maxwell stays leg-side of the ball, waits for it to come to him and dispatches it into the cow corner fence with a mighty swing of the bat
Liam Dawson to Maxwell, no run, clears the front leg does Maxwell and slaps this away-turner to extra cover
Liam Dawson to D Arcy Short, 1 run, nudged into the leg-side towards mid-wicket for a single
Liam Dawson to D Arcy Short, 2 runs, quick hands now from the lefty to scythe this wider delivery outside off. A single to sweeper cover
Liam Dawson to D Arcy Short, SIX, even better. Now, Dawson overpitches, enough room there for Short to swing his bat hard and loft it over long-on. A clean strike
Liam Dawson to D Arcy Short, FOUR, firmly struck! Tossed up delivery, but the line was wide of off, Short stands tall and thumps it down the ground. No chance for long-on to stop that
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, 2 runs, goes for the reverse sweep again and this time gets it over the man at backward point - courtesy a top-edge. Two fielders inside the circle (backward point and short third man) run back, but it was the deep point fielder who could mop that up
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, no run, quicker delivery that skids through, Maxwell is cramped for room and is a tad late to bring his bat down. Trims the inside edge and rolls towards the man at 45
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, 2 runs, hit hard. Shortish leg-break turning away outside off, Maxwell backs away and crashes it through covers for a couple
Adil Rashid to Maxwell, no run, flighted leg-break, Maxwell reverse-sweeps it to short third man. Good contact, but can't pierce the gap
