commentary

That's it from us then. Australia will play Pakistan in the final on Sunday. Should be a good contest. As Finch said, if Australia can polish up a few areas, they will give a hard time to their opponents. Pakistan clicked as a batting unit last game and they will hope to continue the good work. Join us back in a couple of days time for the finale. The game begins at 10:00 local time. Goodbye!

Aaron Finch: "They bowled well towards the end. We probably made it more difficult than we had to. It's important to get some time in the middle. If we can polish up a few areas in all three facets, we will be in a good position. I thought we executed really well with the ball towards the death of the innings."

Andrew Tye (Man of the Match): "I have been working on trying to take wicket at crucial times. I have been pretty lucky in the series picking up wickets at the death. I try to mix the rhythm up by changing the pace. The energy within the group is really gearing up towards the final."

Hamilton Masakadza: "The guys fought hard there and took it till the end. The wicket played a little bit slower than expected. We spoke about coming back from the first two games. I am sure we will keep getting better as we move towards the ODI series against Pakistan."

Some momentum gained by Australia before the final, but they should have sealed this much earlier. Finch and Carey departed early, but Head and Maxwell revived the innings with a 103-run stand for the third wicket. Australia were cruising, but Maxwell threw it away after his fifty and then Zimbabwe managed to get Maddinson and Head in quick succession. Stoinis and Agar saw off some nervy moments before taking their side home.
